While on my trip on UK last month, there were lot of good restaurants out there but this shop really stood out for me. We were supposed to eat on a Chinese take-away on Lake district, but all the shops usually open at 5pm. We then decided to just eat on the first restaurant we saw along the way.

Cod and chips - definitely the best cod and chips I've tried on our entire UK trip. The batter is not oily and has the right amount of flour on it and you could really tell that the cod was fresh. The chips were not that oily and soggy which you'll enjoy eating every chips on your table.

Meat and potato pies - the meat was tasty and complements well with the mashed potato inside. Best is to have a gravy on it. We were lucky that they gave us free gravy (which is super tasty!)

Aside from the gravy, the owner also gave us free rice, curry soup and Pakbet! (Truly Filipinos are hospitable). So if you ever visit the lake district, be sure to visit Seafarers just in front of The World of Beatrix Potter.
