New York's Gourmet Deli/Grocery: Dean & Deluca

One of the famous gourmet deli/grocery in New York finally opened a branch here in the Philippines. I've been hearing a lot of good feedback from this restaurant so upon visiting Rockwell, I immediately told my friends to eat there. We ordered Umami chicken, Truffle Porcini Mushroom Pasta and Hokkaido cheesecake

Umami chicken

Umami chicken - crispy organic chicken, tofu crisp in tangy umami dressing. Perfect meal to start our dinner. The chicken skin was really crispy and you could really taste the umami taste even in the chicken meat itself.

Truffle Porcini Mushroom Pasta

Truffle Porcini Mushroom Pasta - truffle cream, poricini mushroom, pecorino, organic egg. This is the best truffle pasta I've ever tasted. It's creamy and the strong taste of the mushroom and truffle cream works well.

Hokkaido cheesecake

Hokkaido cheesecake - Made from hokkaido milk and cream cheese. It's a good fit because the creaminess of the cheesecake was even more than the usual and it's not that sweet that you would not notice that you already half of the serving already.

Overall, we enjoyed dining in the restaurant. The atmosphere has a cool vibe that is ideal for friends who wants to have a cozy dining experience. Will definitely go back to try their famous pizza.
