I'm lucky to have been invited by Zomato Philippines to have lunch with my fellow foodies at Cafe Ysabel. The cafe has been in San juan for over 35 years now and has definitely made a mark on the Philippines' restaurant scene. The interior and ambiance feel nostalgic.

Juan’s Sole Roulade - In my opinion, this dish was the highlight of our lunch. The texture and how the food was presented to us were a delight both in the eyes and taste buds.

Capampangan Caldereta - There may be nothing more to comment about this dish, as it was prepared and served exactly how a caldereta should be, but nothing more. Still, better to be safe than sorry!
