Wild poppy is an Asian-fusion restaurant that has a laid back atmosphere that is perfect for young professionals to de-stress after work. We wanted to chill and unwind so we decided to try out this restaurant. We ordered Pok-pok bites, Curry-fisher rice bowl, Chicken ren damn rice bowl and Shrimp and Co, Cucumber Frost and Lazy Lemons.
Yaki Tomorokoshi (165php) - Grilled yellow corn topped with kesong puti, yuzu smoked aioli, scallions, onions and cilantro. Cheese lovers would definitely loved this and it was a great appetizer to start up your meal because of its little hint of spice on it.

Pok-pok Bites (140php) - Fried bite size chicken fillet topped with shallots, laksa leaves and wild rice. The special sauce for the chicken fillet really works well with the rice. I must say that their wild rice has been on of the best fried rice I've ever tasted.

Curry-fisher rice bowl (295php) - pan-grilled salmon with green curry aioli, Taiwanese bokchoy paired with Wild Rice. The curry was flavorful and creamy that complemented well with their Wild Rice. Tip: You need an extra wild rice for this one.

Chicken Ren Damn Rice Bowl (170php) - sweet and spicy chicken rendang, cucumber croutons and cilantro paired with Wild Rice. People who are into spicy food or those who wants a little adventure while eating will really enjoyed this dish.

Shrimp and Co (160php) - Deep-fried shrimp on a bed of spicy coconut sauce. This has been my favorite dish of the night. The rich and spicy flavor of the coconut sauce spiced things up with the shrimp and the their rice was really perfect for the dish.

Lazy Lemons (250php) - Lemongrass infused Maker's Mark Bourbon, lemon juice, ginger, labuyo, simple syrup, egg white.

We really had a great time dining in and unwinding in this restaurant. Will definitely go back to try out their other menu as well.
